Prepare your Luggage!

What you really should bring along:

  • light clothes and toilet articles
  • small first aid box & medical which need prescription
  • a copy of your passport
  • Logbook, Brevet
  • Travel Insurance (a diving insurance has to be arranged before the trip)
  • Voucher of your travel agent

The following equipment should be brought along:

Mask, Snorkel, Fins, Boots, Diving Suit, Re-Breather, Jacket, Lamp, Diving Computer with extra batteries.

The diving suit should be 3mm to 7mm, depending on the season. The water temperatures are around 24°C to 27°C from April till October and 18°C to 25°C from November till March.

 


Captain Moro Diving SafariAll guests have to have a valid passport, which is valid for 6 months after arrival. At your arrival at the airport you will receive visa stamps for your passport. As for the approval to leave the harbor we need a copy of your passport it would be an advantage if you would bring this with you.

What else you could bring, but don't have to:

  • CDs, Videos, DVDs, books
  • please check with your doctor if you have all required vaccinations. Please do not forget prescription medicals.

Food & Beverage
The food on board will be served in buffet style including a great choice of meat, poultry, fish, pasta, rice, vegetables and different salads. Fresh fruits and small snacks are available throughout the day.


For special requests, i.e vegetarian food, please inform us prior to arrival via email.
Softdrinks, tea and coffee are included and available 24 hours a day. Beer and wine are at an extra charge (payable on board)

Diving
All dives during our tours will be accompanied by a minimum of 2 guides. You will dive in Buddy Teams. The maximum diving depth in the Red Sea is 30m. All bottles have INT-connections, DIN-adapters are available on board. The boat offers enough space for your equipment and also has spare parts on board.

Insurance
In order to dive you have to have a valid insurance which covers diving accidents. We recommend the D.E.C.O International EL Gouna-Red Sea Egypt which you can take out on board. (6 Euro per person, 3 weeks insurance coverage) More Information on this insurance under www.deco-international.com

Tips on board
Tips should be voluntary, depending on the service of the guides and the crew. As a benchmark you can calculate with 20 Euro per week, but of course this is your own decision. The tips are being collected seperately for both, the guides and the crew. The language on board is predominantly English but we also have some German-speaking guides. The crew speaks Arabic.

On Board you can also buy technical literarure on the underwater world as well as t-shirts and other diving items

Check-Out
After Breakfast - usually around 10 a.m. - you will be arrived to teh airport. If you would like to spend your last night in a hotel, please let us know.
